Note: Keep use to a minimum I would probably do 15 or less per day.
Step 1: Add Your Medium Account Cookies
To use the Medium Clapper and Commenter TaskBot, you need to provide your Medium account cookies and add them into the ZeroWork TaskBot.
Step 2: Set Your Open API Key
Ensure that you have your Open API key set in the global settings. This is required for the TaskBot to function correctly. Follow these steps to set your Open API key:
- Go to the global settings of your TaskBot platform.
- Find the section for API keys.
- Enter your Open API key in the provided field.
Step 3: Fill in the Required Variables
Variable 1: How Many Times to Click Clap
This variable determines how many times the TaskBot will click the "Clap" button on each article. Use spintax to randomly select a number. This is how to set it between 1 and 8. Here is an example:
{1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8}
Variable 2: How Many Medium Articles to Go Through
This variable sets the number of Medium articles the TaskBot will clap and comment on. Enter the desired number of articles in this field. Note that if you run the TaskBot frequently, it may encounter duplicate articles and will skip them, potentially resulting in fewer clapped and commented articles than specified.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues while using the Medium Clapper and Commenter TaskBot, try the following solutions:
- Issue: The TaskBot is not clapping or commenting on articles. Solution: Ensure that your cookies are correctly copied and pasted into the settings. Verify that the variables are filled out correctly and that your Open API key is set.
- Issue: The TaskBot stops working after a few articles. Solution: Check your internet connection and ensure it is stable. Also, verify that your Medium account is still logged in and active.
- Issue: Random errors or unexpected behavior. Solution: Restart the TaskBot and try again. If the issue persists, consider resetting the variables and cookies, then re-entering them.
